Mind-up – Level-up skills mental health professionals
Mind-up is an Erasmus+ KA210-VET project that aims to enhance the professional competencies of mental health professionals, promoting the social inclusion and independence of institutionalized adults facing mental health challenges.
Mind-up is an Erasmus+ KA210-VET project dedicated to empowering mental health professionals to support the social integration of institutionalized adults experiencing mental health issues through innovative educational approaches.
Mental health is an essential part of quality of life and well-being. Across Europe, individuals experiencing mental health challenges often face social exclusion, discrimination, and barriers to employment and community integration. The EU’s Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030 emphasizes creating inclusive communities and removing social barriers. Occupational therapists play a vital role in this process, yet often lack sufficient resources and specialized training to fully support their clients’ transition to independent living and social integration.

General Aim:
„The Mind-up project aims to improve the competencies of mental health professionals, specifically occupational therapists, enabling them to provide effective, inclusive, and empowering services for adults institutionalized due to mental health problems.”

Specific Objectives:
- „Equip 12 occupational therapists with knowledge and skills to create tailored educational programs aimed at promoting social inclusion for adults with mental health issues.”
- „Support 30 institutionalized adults in developing essential social and independent living skills.”
- „Strengthen the capacity of partner organizations to deliver integrated social and educational services, reducing social exclusion among adults with mental health challenges.”
